SHIP MANAGEMENT
Since its founding in 1982, K-LNG has built deep ship management expertise, starting with oil tanker management and expanding over the decades into VLCCs, LNGCs and LPGCs.
Backed by ship management know-how accumulated in the industry and systematic in-house crew management, we continue to raise the safety and operational quality of our vessels.
FLEET MANAGEMENT
From regular vessel visits to international-standard audits and major vessel inspections,
we operate a step-by-step fleet management system.

Marine and technical superintendents regularly visit our vessels to inspect the hull, equipment and machinery, as well as the performance of seafarers including senior officers. Non-conformities are identified and corrected to ensure vessel safety. Inspection results are compiled and analyzed in reports and used to plan improvements in safety and operational quality across the fleet.
In line with international standards such as ISM, ISPS, MLC and ISO, we conduct internal audits at least once a year and regular external audits by certification bodies and recognized organizations to verify compliance and effectiveness in safety, health, quality, security and the environment.
Beyond convention requirements, flying superintendents sail on board to regularly conduct the audits below, thoroughly checking operational safety and procedural compliance. Each audit follows an annual schedule and aims to secure safety by improving fleet quality and reducing risk.
Following SIRE 2.0 on board and TMSA 3.0 ashore, we manage, comply with and implement internal systems that reflect the latest inspection standards and operating guidelines, continuously strengthening the consistency and safety of our ship management. Operations based on global standards earn customer trust and competitive marine quality.
To respond proactively to major inspections such as PSC and SIRE, we share CICs (Concentrated Inspection Campaigns) with the entire fleet in a timely manner. Vessels check key items reflecting industry trends and inspection criteria in advance through self-inspection, strengthening inspection readiness.
CREW MANAGEMENT
Recognizing human resources as the key to business success,
K-LNG directly recruits, trains and manages skilled seafarers to deliver safe operations and the best service.

We run tailored training programs to build each seafarer's competence, developing professionals through systematic training and continuous evaluation.
By integrating statutory, company policy and job competence training, we have built a safe and professional crew management system.

Mandatory statutory training in line with international regulations and safety standards supports safe operations.

Seafarers share the company's vision and core values and grow their expertise as members of the organization.

Vessel-type-specific training and practical programs raise job expertise.
Seafarer selection & development process
From selection through training, assignment and continued development, a systematic process underpins our global-standard crew management.
